Not long ago, Melbourne food publication GRAM Magazine and South Melbourne Market held a fabulous blogging competition. Their ‘To Market To Market’ blog competition encouraged bloggers from all over Victoria to visit South Melbourne Market and write a blog post about their experience. As part of their blog, entrants had the choice of reviewing a market stall, interviewing a market stallholder or creating a delicious recipe using ingredients purchased from the market.
Given that South Melbourne Market is one of Melbourne’s best markets for a wide variety of high-quality produce, I decided to review a few stalls as part of my idea of a staggered Sunday lunch. It was loads of fun wandering to different stalls and eating, or drinking, a course at each location.
