Whisk Your Vegan Love Away For a Vegan Experience This Spring

You have to admit that Spring is the season for love and Spring in Melbourne for vegans is a sunny and smitten affair. Loved up vegans will be pining to get out in the sunnier, dreamier weather. So, where in Melbourne – and surrounds – do you take your vegan love?

Beachside fun on the Mornington Peninsula

Pack the car for a breezy drive down the freeway to the Mornington Peninsula. If you need to grab some swoon-worthy supplies, then order some vegan cheeses and Dutch chocolate crème from The Vegan Dairy. Then, take some wine-tasting in at the vegan-friendly Trofeo Estate.

From there, head for the dizzying heights of Arthurs Seat and take a gondola to view the peninsula’s breath-taking views.

If a relaxing soak is more you your style then visit the Peninsula Hot Springs. You can enjoy the coastal sun while still keeping warm if the air is fresh. To spoil your vegan love and fill their tummy, then take a long and lazy brunch at either Hunter Café or Wombat.

Take in the wilderness wonder in Warburton

Vegan loved ones will find cosy seclusion and sanctuary in Warburton. Book a weekender at the vegan-friendly Warburton Motel which is the perfect base for experiencing this cosy town.

On the way, stop in for a dreamy lunch at Nancy’s if the Yarra Valley in Yarra Junction. You’ll make the trip to Warburton a little slower and relaxing for you and your vegan loved one.

Once you’ve checked in to the Warburton Hotel, book in a river-tubing trip when the weather is bright. You’ll take river tubes on a floating trip along the Yarra River which is a fun and free experience. If staying dry is more your vegan love’s thing, then take a mountain bike tour of the surrounds. Both activities can be booked at the Warburton Hotel.

If you want to immerse yourself in more nature, then treat yourselves to a bushwalk at the Rainforest Gallery Walk or La La Falls.
