Thankyou 2013 and Hello 2014

2013 has been an amazing year for Fire & Tea and my efforts have paid off.
My blog has achieved some unexpected milestones this year, such as:

Not only has my work on Fire & Tea attracted some modest attention, my freelance efforts have made the rounds too:

And, there was a massive personal highlight for me this year too. Some of you already know that I tutor English voluntarily to migrants in my area and it’s a beneficial way to share culture as well as newfound skills. My current student successfully passed her Australian Citizenship test not too long ago which means she and her two daughters can officially call Australia home.

It’s motivating to start the New Year with so much positivity and I’m already booked in for some amazing fun for the first half of 2014. I can’t wait for the new year to start.

Here’s a sneak peek of my plans:

  • A vegan tour of Bali
  • A weekend away at Bed and Broccoli – Australia’s first vegan B&B
  • Cashing in some wonderful yoga, meditation and restaurant gift vouchers
  • Taking an archery class

It’s been a year of firsts for Fire & Tea and I can’t wait for more firsts and fun to continue in 2014.

Happy New Year!
