Merry Christmas and a Date on New Year’s Eve

Like every other year, 2014 has flown by faster than a bullet train. It has been a year of huge ups, some unavoidable downs, and a great deal of new experiences. I have arrived at the finish line quite exhausted, though I’m in good stead for some smart planning and wish-making for the New Year.

Today is the day of Christmas Eve in Australia, so I’m doing my last little tasks to get prepared – wrapping some last-minute gifts, doing my bit in the kitchen to contribute to Christmas lunch tomorrow, and any little tid-bits that get thrown my way. The sun is shining, the air is fresh and that Christmas feeling is settling in.

I’m also looking far ahead into 2015, and I can see some amazing experiences that will unfold. Obviously, there’s more travelling, eating and exploring to be done and there will be a stack of new writing and blogging to achieve. Some new collaborations are in the pipeline, and I’ll keep you posted with all the news and updates.

My latest collaboration with Jummp.co is proving to be a real fun one, and my latest article is already live and kicking for you all to read and absorb. I’ve rallied together some amazing, and unlikely places, where you can spend New Year’s Eve; places to sing in midnight where you’d be the first in the world to do so. You can read all about a date with the dateline on New Year’s Eve here and get some inspiration if you’re still procrastinating over your plans for the biggest night of the year.

If you are celebrating, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a safe, peaceful and exciting New Year ahead. And, I’d love to hear about your plans for the next few days of Christmas and New Year celebrations. Feel free to leave a comment and share what’s in store for you. Or perhaps, there’s a massive travel goal you’re going to achieve in 2015? Do tell!
